HIT AND RUN

On May 14, 2010, at approximately 10:00 p.m., a family was attending a church service at 6127 S. Figueroa Street. At the conclusion of the church service, the family`s two-year-old child ran into the street eastbound on Figueroa. The child was then struck by a motorist in an older model Toyota Corolla that was travelling southbound on Figueroa Street towards 62nd Street. The motorist continued southbound on Figueroa, then eastbound on 62nd Street. The motorist failed to stop to render aid or to identify himself.

The motorist was described as a male Hispanic. The toddler was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries.

ATTEMPT TO IDENTIFY COMMERCIAL BURGLARY SUSPECT

On Sunday, April 18, 2010, between 12:00 am and 5:30 am, the above photographed suspect entered the second-floor office of Marco`s Restaurant, located at 8200 Santa Monica Blvd., West Hollywood. The suspect entered the premises by kicking or prying open a non-functioning wall fan on the south side of the building. To gain access to the fan, the suspect had to access the rooftop for the business directly behind the location.

The suspect was in the location for approximately 15 minutes. Stolen was approximately $2000 in US currency from a desk in the office.

DISAPPEARANCE AND MURDER OF
JOANNA MARIE JONES

Los Angeles County Sheriff`s Homicide Investigators are seeking information regarding the disappearance and murder of Victim Joanna Marie Jones, which occured in 1985.

Joanna Marie Jones disappeared in the early monring hours of April 29, 1985, while walking to her car, which was parked in the area of 1st Street and Cherry Avenue in the City of Long Beach. Joanna Marie Jones was en route to her place of employment in West Covina, and was due to arrive at 8:00 a.m. Joanna Marie Jones never arrived at work that day and her car was also missing. She had been driving a 1978 Chevrolet Camaro, blue in color, California license #265VDW.

Joanna Marie Jones remains were discovered on June 8, 1985 in a remote area of Azuza Canon, off of Highway 39.

Investigators have identified a "person of interest" as Stafford Joel Spicer, a white, male age 33, who was determined to be in possession of the victim`s car on the same day the victim disappeared.

MURDER OF JOES IGNACIO SANCHEZ

On April 1, 2010, Jose Ignacio Sanchez was walking toward the exit gate of the Pico Gardens Housing Complex when an unknown suspect(s) approached and shot him numerous times. A suspect was described as a male, Hispanic, 20-30 years old with an approximate height of 5` 8" to 5` 9".

On 4/2/2010 the suspect pictured to the left and below, entered Poliform and stole the victim`s wallet out of the office desk. The suspect then went to Gelson`s and Smart and Final in West Hollywood, and used the victim`s credit card to make purchases. The suspect also attempted to make a purchase at the Trader Joe`s in West Hollywood, but the transaction was denied.

On 2/20/2010 the suspect photgraphed above and below, entered Bel-Bambini, entered various areas of the store that wre not open to the public, and stole the victim`s wallet from her purse which was in the victim`s office. the victim didn`t realize her wallet and its contents had been stolen until she received a call from her husband regarding suspicious activity on the cards.

$20,000 REWARD OFFERED

On September 16, 2008 (Tuesday) at approximately 10:00 a.m., victim Anthony Lombardi, male/white age 55, was robbed at gunpoint and shot to death after parking his vehicle in the driveway of his residence on Undine Road in the city of Santa Clarita.

Sheriff`s Homicide Detectives are requesting the public`s assistance in obtaining information into the murder of victim Anthony Lombardi.

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and the City of Santa Clarita are offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s).

$10,000 Reward Offered

On 2/15/10 at 8:40 am a bicyclist was struck and killed on Dwight Avenue and Compton Blvd. in the city of Compton. A grey/silver Ford Minivan fled the scene. The minivan should have damage to the hood and front bumper. The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors has authorized a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect in this case.

Suspect Description: Male, dark skinned (Black or Hispanic), tall (6` 7")

Vehicle Description: 2000-2005 Ford Windstar with front bumper damage, hood damage and scapes underneath vehicle.

Location: Dwight Avenue and Compton Blvd.

On March 10, 2010 at 6:40 am, the suspect entered the business office of the Motel 6 located at 8221 Pioneer Blvd. in Whittier. The suspect tied up the victims with black "zip ties". The suspect put cash in a large black bag and cut the wires to surveillance equipment and took the money with him along with the victim`s cell phone and other items (described below). The suspect left in an unknown direction, unknown if on foot or in vehicle.

Suspect: Male/white, 40 to 45 years old, approx. 5` 08` tall, 140 to 160 lbs. Suspect wore a tan fishing hat, dark black sun glasses and a dark blue jacket and tan pants. Suspect has dirty blond hair.

Location: 8221 Pioneer Blvd., Whittier

Weapon Used: Black hand gun and brown pocket knife

Stolen: $195.75 from the register, computer monitor, video surveillance DVD recorder, and a Verizon "Touch" cell phone.

On June 26, 2005, at 1:20 a.m., Victim Cortez was shot and killed in a front yard of of a home located in the 700 Block of Tonopah Avenue, La Puente. Two other victims were also shot and wounded.

Victim Cortez and his two friends had just left a party taking place in the 700 block of Tonapah Avenue, La Puente, when they were confronted by two male Hispanic suspects. Words were exchanged and the two suspects pulled out handguns and shot the victims.

The suspects were last seen running northbound on Tonopah and out of sight. Suspect Sanchez was later identified as one of the shooters. #2 suspect was described as a male Hispanic, in his 20`s, 5` 09" to 5` 11" tall, 240 to 260 pounds, black hair, brown eyes.

Weapons used by both suspects were .380 caliber handguns.

$10,000 Reward-Victim Remington Dunham

On November 20, 2009, at approximately 10:55 p.m., victim Remington Dunham (pictured to the left) was shot and killed while walking to his vehicle in the 11000 block of Gonsalves Place in the city of Cerritos. Victim Dunham had just left a party he had been attending on Gonsalves Place.

The city of Cerritos is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s).

On December 12, 2009, at approximately 11:30 p.m., suspect Maurcio Farias shot victim Ivon Sanchez while at a party in the 1500 block of West 101st Street, Los Angeles. The suspect fled the location in a white, 2002 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, CA license plate # 8M15256, with chrome rims (similar to the truck shown in the photo below).

The suspect is armed and should be considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS.

On January 11, 2009, at approximately 2:00 a.m., a shooting occured near the intersection of Gibson Avenue and Rosecrans Avenue in the City of Compton. Victim Daniel Hernandez, a male Hispanic, age 28, was struck and killed by the gunfire.

Thomas Ruben Velarde has been identified as a suspect in this incident. He should be considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS.

The victim was approached outside a gym in Cerritos by Suspect #1 (Male Black or Samoan, 6` to 6`-2", 300 lbs, 30-40 years old). Suspect #1 claimed to be in possession of a will or trust stating he was to inherit 2.5 million dollars. Suspect #1 asked the victim to give him a ride the McDonald`s restaurant in Hawaiian Gardens to talk over his situation. While en route to McDonald`s, Suspect #1 told the victim he needed two honest people to donate money to churches and in turn they would get $1,000 for each church. Suspect #2 (Male Black or Samoan, 5`-11", 170 lbs., early 50`s) joined them and both suspects showed the victim several thousand dollars to prove they were "honest".

The victim told the suspects he had $12,000 at his home and he drove them to his home and retrieved the money, then he drove to his bank in Cerritos and retrieved $200,000 from his safe deposit box. Suspect #1 overpowered the victim and took his money by force.

On February 24, 2010, at 9:15 pm the victim was approached by two suspects while she was in her driveway.The suspects punched the victim several times in the head and stole her diamond ring. The suspects then ran away from the location. No weapons were seen and no vehicles were seen.

Suspect #1: Male White or Hispanic, 28-31 years old, dark/short curly hair, 6` 0", weight 190-205, full beard, muscular build.

Suspect #2: Male White or Hispanic, 28-31 years old, brown hair, 6` 1" - 6` 2", weight 175-180, large ears.
